It contains citric acid, which boosts cardiovascular and pulmonary functions. Omija also improves the immune system, which is why it has been used as a medicinal fruit throughout history.

Typically, Omija is added to cool beverages or enjoyed as hot tea. At times, Fermented Omija Concentrate is used to brew alcoholic beverages.
